The Nelson Family in Minnesota used “conventional” methods to raise their cattle. But illness and financial difficulties created the necessity to change course. They have now completely switched to organic farming and sell their milk though the Organic Valley cooperative of farmers.
Their 365-acre farm is now a thriving family business. See them reflect on their transition and where it’s led them.
