Video: Kids Have Their Say about Proposition 37 and GMO Labeling

The main thrust of the Proposition 37 Campaign is that we as consumers are asserting our rights to know what is in our food. But what are the implications to our future generations of the presence of unknown compounds in our food? Are we subjecting our children to a science experiment? Despite the biotech industry’s oft-repeated claims of safety, there is a wide view that we and our kids are being subjected to the world’s largest undocumented clinical trial. But, any normal clinical trial would include informed consent.
The government agencies tasked with protecting the integrity of our foods has chosen to ignore the will of over 90 percent of us. So it is up to us now. Here’s what future voters have to say about Proposition 37 and GMO Labeling.
